In Fall 2018 Jessie-Ann Kohlman was an original cast member of Talisman Roses, directed by Marsha Mason and starring Amanda Plummer, which premiered at Tennessee Williams Festival in Provincetown Massachusetts.
Most recently, Jessie-Ann was featured in Holy Fools, a video installation by Ondine Viñao which premiered at Rubber Factory NYC.
Her directorial work has been screened in the short film corner at Cannes Film Festival.
Her recent curatorial work includes an event at Ludlow House in Lower Manhattan in Summer 2018. Jessie-Ann conceptualized a short film festival and asked five fellow female filmmakers to share their work alongside hers, showcasing women who are currently shaping the landscape of film in New York.
She is recently curated, conceptualized, and produced a film symposium, cortisol, surrounding the concept of trauma. Cortisol premiered in Berlin at freunde von freunden’s friends space on April 27th, 2019.
Jessie-Ann Kohlman received a dual-degree B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business and College of Arts and Sciences, and completed the two-year full-time acting program at the William Esper Studio in 2018.
